Bass Clarinet

The bass clarinet is a musical instrument of the clarinet family. Like the more common soprano B♭ clarinet, it is usually pitched in B♭ (meaning it is a transposing instrument on which a written C sounds as B♭), but it plays notes an octave below the soprano B♭ clarinet. Bass clarinets in other keys, notably C and A, also exist, but are very rare (in contrast to the regular A clarinet, which is quite common in classical music). Bass clarinets regularly perform in orchestras, wind ensembles/concert bands, occasionally in marching bands, and play an occasional solo role in contemporary music and jazz in particular.

 A transverse flute or side-blown flute is a flute which is held horizontally when played. The player blows across the embouchure hole, in a directionperpendicular to the flute's body length.

Transverse flutes include the Western classical flutes, the Indian classical flutes (the bansuri and the venu), the Chinese dizi, the Western fife, a number of Japanese fue, and Korean flutes such as Daegeum, Junggeumand Sogeum.

An electric guitar is a fretted string instrument that uses a pickup to convert the vibration of its strings—which are typically made of metal, and which occurs when a guitarist strums, plucks orfingerpicks the strings—into electrical impulses. The vibrations of the strings are sensed by apickup, of which the most common type is the magnetic pickup, which uses the principle of directelectromagnetic induction.

Often the signal is modified using effects such as reverb and distortion and "overdrive", with the latter being a key element of the sound of the electric guitar as it is used in blues and rock music.

Invented in 1931, the amplified electric guitar was adopted by jazz guitarists, who sought to be able to be heard in large big band ensembles. Early proponents of the electric guitar on record included Les Paul, Lonnie Johnson, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, T-Bone Walker, and Charlie Christian. During the 1950s and 1960s, the electric guitar became the most important instrument in pop music.

Electric guitar design and construction vary greatly in the shape of the body and the configuration of the neck, bridge, and pickups. Guitars have a fixed bridge or a spring-loaded hinged bridge that lets players bend notes or chords up or down in pitch or perform vibrato effects. The sound of a guitar can be modified by new playing techniques such as string bending, tapping,hammering on, using audio feedback, or slide guitar playing.

The drum is a member of the percussion group of musical instruments. In the Hornbostel-Sachsclassification system, it is a membranophone. Drums consist of at least one membrane, called adrumhead or drum skin, that is stretched over a shell and struck, either directly with the player's hands, or with a drum stick, to produce sound. There is usually a resonance head on the underside of the drum, typically tuned to a slightly lower pitch than the top drumhead. Other techniques have been used to cause drums to make sound, such as the thumb roll. Drums are the world's oldest and most ubiquitous musical instruments, and the basic design has remained virtually unchanged for thousands of years. 

Drums may be played individually, with the player using a single drum, and some drums such as thedjembe are almost always played in this way. Others are normally played in a set of two or more, all played by the one player, such as bongo drums and timpani. A number of different drums together with cymbals form the basic modern drum kit.

The clarinet is a musical instrument consisting of a cylindrical tube, usually wooden (for models of other materials), with a conical nozzle of a single Reed and braces (metal rods connected the caps to reach holes to which the fingers do not come naturally). Has four records: serious, medium, sharp and superagudo. Who plays the clarinet is called a clarinetist.

History:

The clarinet descends from the chalumeau, an instrument popular in France at least since the middle ages. In 1690, Johann Christoph Denner, German charamelista, added to its Shawm a key for the thumb of the left hand, so that he could play in an opening that brought him more sonic possibilities. Thus arose the contemporary clarinet. Introduced in orchestras in 1750, was one of the last wind instruments incorporated into modern orchestral training. The clarinet is used even today in the largest orchestras in the world. Is an instrument used in Brazil.

Valentino Rossi (Urbino, 16 February 1979) is an Italian motorcycle road racer.

The most titled motorcycle riders because of nine singles titles, is the only rider in the history of the League to win the World Cup in four different classes: 125cc, 250cc, 500cc e MotoGP (6). Also holds the record of the number of Grand Prix starts consecutively in the world of speed, with 228 games. [1] is the owner of SKY Racing Team VR46. [2]

After winning the championship, he was trained to ride 125cc racing motor bikes and in 1995, he won the Italian 125cc Championship. He also raced in the 125cc European Championship where he claimed the third position.

His next move was big and ambitious i.e. he participated in the World Championship in 1996 in the Malaysian Grand Prix, where he finished 9th.
However, he won the 1997 125cc World Championship held in Aprilia, to become the youngest rider ever to claim the championship.
In 1998, he took up 250cc racing and came second in the World Championship which was won by Loris Capirossi.
He won the 250cc World Championship held in 1999 in Aprilia, where he had won his first world championship title.

In 2000, he signed up with Honda to race in the 500cc class and was mentored by Michael Doohan, a former 500 cc World Champion. He raced that year and finished second to Kenny Roberts, Jr.

The 500 cc World Championship conducted its final race in 2001 and Rossi who had come second the previous year, finished first and claimed the championship.

In 2004, he signed up with Yamaha and raced in the opening season of the Grand Prix in South Africa. He won the championship to become the first ever rider to win premier class championships in a sequence, representing two different manufacturers.
Out of the 16 races held that season he won nine, securing the World Championship title for himself.

The year 2005 was extremely good because he won eleven races in total to become the World Champion that year too.
In 2006, however, he finished second to Nicky Hayden, from Honda, by five points. It was only the second time in his premier class racing career that he came second.
The year 2007, was a little rough for him as he could only win four races owing to several technical problems. He was also injured in one of the races and finished third in the World Championship that year, his lowest achievement since his first championship win.
In 2008, he regained his repute by winning the MotoGP title by winning nine races.

The following year was also very fruitful, but in 2010, he suffered another injury in which he broke his leg while practicing at Mugello. He finished third in the championship and missed four races that season.
In 2011, he left long time sponsor Yamaha to sign a two-year contract with Ducati.
However, in the mid of 2012, he announced that he would go back to Yamaha at the end of the season.
In 2005, Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, he won his 7th World Championship and fifth consecutive MotoGP Championship. That year he earned a place among the only five riders in the history of motorcycle racing to win premier-class title five times.
As of 2013 he has won an grand total of 106 races, 80 of which are 500cc/MotoGP championships.

   Wear protective clothing. You never want to get onto a motorcycle without the proper gear. This includes a thick motorcycle helmet, leather gloves, jeans or leather pants, and a strong leather jacket. You also want some strong boots, preferable leather, with some proper grip. When you're first getting started, it's also not a bad idea to wear elbow, ankle or knee guards, as you'll be going down a lot.

   Find a secluded street or road. Remember that learning this will take you quite some time, and you'll probably take a couple bad spills. You don't want to harm any pedestrians around you or crash your bike into any cars, either mobile or parked. Your constant attempts are also going to make a lot of noise, so you don't want to disrupt those around you.

   • It's technically illegal to wheelie on a street bike, so finding a secluded place to practice will also help you evade any trouble from law enforcement.

   Learn on a bike with enough power. If you're attempting to learn the power wheelie on a sport bike, you'll probably want a 500 cc motorcycle, at the minimum. You'll be lifting the front wheel solely with your acceleration, so you want to make sure that your bike has the power to pull that off.

   • You can also learn the power wheelie on a dirtbike. If you have access to one or want something a little more comfortable, this could be a smart idea. A 100 or 150 cc bike should have enough power to practice this stunt.

   Check your rear tire for any damage. You'll be spending a significant amount of time on this back tire when you're practicing wheelies, so make sure that your tire is in good shape. You don't want any wobbling on that end. It's also ideal to run your tire pressure a little bit lower than you might normally, as it will make the wheelie more stable.

   Remove a tip-over sensor if your bike has one. This sensor might cause your bike to shut off if you tip too far backward. You will be tipping backward, and because you're just learning, may tip even further back than totally comfortable. Make sure your bike doesn't give out on you mid-wheelie by removing this sensor.

   • Your back exhaust may also hit the ground, depending on where it's located on your bike, so make sure that it won't tap the ground while you're on one wheel. If it does, you may grind the road and fall off of the bike.
